SweatX – Round 1 Charity Onboarding Complete

By Daniel Ingamells - 2025-07-14

At SweatX, we turn verified fitness activity into real community impact. For our beta launch, we are partnering with five high-impact local charities in Bali and Indonesia. Our approach is focused: every partner and project is vetted, transparent, and set up so you can see the difference your participation makes.

Meet Our Five Launch Charity Partners

Hope Children’s Home (Hope Orphanage)

Why we chose them:
In August 2024, an electrical fire destroyed Hope Orphanage, displacing 55 children. I visited personally, signed a SweatX partnership at the site, and saw the urgency. SweatX is helping to finish the rebuild, ensuring these kids have a safe, permanent home.

Immediate needs:
Roofing, classrooms, beds, and basic supplies.

The Odd Cat Bali

Why we chose them:
The Odd Cat Bali is more than a cat café. Since 2016, it has rescued over 600 cats and rehomed nearly 400. Their transparent, sustainable model supports animal rescue directly through community engagement.

Immediate needs:
Funding for veterinary care, food, and shelter operations.

Little Steps Matter

Why we chose them:
Little Steps Matter rescues street dogs and cats in Tabanan. Each month, they deliver 800 kg of food and have completed over 2,500 sterilizations. Their model is both hands-on and preventative, focusing on long-term impact for animal welfare.

Immediate needs:
Ongoing funding for food, veterinary care, and sterilization clinics.

Sungai Watch

Why we chose them:
Sungai Watch addresses plastic pollution at the source. They have installed more than 285 river barriers, mobilized cleanup teams, and removed over 1.7 million kilograms of plastic. Their results are clear and measurable.

Immediate needs:
More river barriers, community cleanup events, and educational materials.

Rescue 2000

Why we chose them:
Rescue 2000 is a grassroots, transparent group that builds homes, runs monthly food drops for over 1,000 families, and distributes clean water filters. Since 2020, they have built over 85 homes for families in need.

Immediate needs:
Support for house builds, food programs, and water initiatives.

Why Only Five Partners for Beta

We are starting small and focused. By concentrating resources on a select group of partners, SweatX can deliver clear, measurable results. Each project gets meaningful support, and every user can follow the real progress their verified activity helps unlock.

  • Deeper impact:
More resources per project means bigger results you can actually see.
  • Transparency:
With a tight group, we can publish updates and proof for every milestone achieved.
  • Proof of concept:
We are testing and refining our entire “move-to-impact” model in a real environment, so future growth is based on what works, not assumptions.

How SweatX Works

SweatX rewards you for verified attendance at structured fitness activities, classes, and events with our fitness partners. No steps, no passive activity tracking. Only real participation counts.
You can use your rewards to support any of our launch charity partners directly in the app. Every contribution is traceable, and you will see updates as projects hit key milestones.

What’s Next

  • Project updates:
We will share stories as classrooms are completed, barriers are installed, animals are rehomed, and families are helped.
  • Transparency:
Each month, we will publish a full breakdown of donations and results.
  • Community involvement:
If you are in Bali, we will be announcing volunteer opportunities with our partners.
  • In the field:
Expect photos and progress reports from the ground, showing exactly what your involvement is making possible.
